Who We Are
THE STORY BEHIND MOLO
Team MoLo MS is a peer-powered movement and support community built on one simple belief:
Motion Is Lotion.
Every Movement Matters.
Team MoLo MS started with a simple idea that turned out to have a whole lot of legs—and wheels, walkers, canes and whatever else gets us where we're going!
At the heart of it was Motion is Lotion, a philosophy embraced by founder Wendell Richardson through his own journey with multiple sclerosis. It was about recognizing that movement—whatever movement looks like for you—can help us stay engaged, connected and moving forward.
Today, some of us walk. Some roll. Some stretch from a chair. Some are rebuilding strength.
And we're just getting started MoLo-ing.
Meet the People Behind MoLo
Three people. Three perspectives.
One shared belief that life doesn't stop when mobility changes—and neither should community.

Our Values
What we stand for
INCLUSION &
DIGNITY
There is no “right kind” of person for Team MoLo MS. Walk, roll, wobble, scoot, stretch, sit or cheer from the sidelines—we’re making room. We welcome different ages, backgrounds, abilities, and experiences because a community becomes stronger when people don’t have to change who they are to belong.
Connection & ENCOURAGEMENT
Every person is more than a diagnosis or limitation. We honor the whole person. Life is better when we don’t have to navigate it alone. Team MoLo creates opportunities for genuine friendships and shared experiences, reminding us that we belong to something bigger.
Accessibility & Empowerment
Accessibility isn’t an afterthought; it’s how we think and advocate. We celebrate progress without comparing journeys. We want people to recognize their own strength and possibilities, helping them discover what they want to do—then cheering loudly when they do it.

Our Goals
Our goal is to build an accessible, welcoming community where people can become more active, more connected, better informed and better supported.
Through local and virtual activities, community partnerships, education, resources and advocacy, we work to reduce isolation, encourage independence and help people discover new ways to participate in life.
As Team MoLo MS grows, we want to connect communities, expand opportunities and help make activities and experiences more accessible to people who are too often left on the sidelines.
Move your way. Connect. Thrive. Belong.
We Move Differently. We Move Together.
